Global Witness’s support comes from grants from trusts and foundations, governments, non-governmental organizations, and individuals. We do not accept funding from any source that has disregarded the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the course of their activities, carried out environmentally harmful practices or is involved in the extractives, timber or arms industries.

The majority of Global Witness’s expenses are allocated to Campaigns to end impunity, resource-linked conflict, and human rights and environmental abuses.
